"Nearly four decades in and The Selecter is gearing up for a new full-length studio album with the October 6th release of their Daylight LP. The legendary 2 Tone band is led by their iconic frontwoman Pauline Black and her longtime collaborator Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson and the new album finds the pair more driven then ever before. Their confidence is sky-high and they’re writing the best songs of their career, which is saying something given the enduring popularity of hits like “Three Minute Hero,” “Missing Words” and “On My Radio.” Just last year, the band celebrated the 35th anniversary of its seminal debut album Too Much Pressure. In addition, the anarchic passion that fueled The Selecter’s early gigs is still there and the two are joined both live and on record by a hugely talented band of musicians."
